CQL Partners With NYSARC, Inc.
In October 2015, CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership entered into a formal partnership with NYSARC, Inc., the largest nonprofit organization in New York State serving individuals with developmental and others disabilities and their families. CQL and NYSARC will work together to enhance the supports and services of NYSARC's 48 operating chapters throughout the state of New York.
CQL will be working with NYSARC on a variety of initiatives to improve quality at an individual-level, organizational-level and systems-level, by expanding accreditation, training, certification and consultation services across the state. "This partnership strengthens the person-centered practices happening in New York and will undoubtedly lead to more outcomes being achieved by people receiving supports and services," says Cathy Ficker Terrill, former President & CEO of CQL. "We are honored to work with NYSARC and its chapters on this journey and help people live out their hopes, dreams and desires."
This partnership expands:
Currently, 26 of NYSARC's 48 operating chapters are accredited through CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. In 2015, CQL launched an expanded accreditation menu that offers three core accreditation options, built on the firm foundation of systems and practices related to health, welfare and human security involving Basic Assurances® and implementation of CQL’s Personal Outcome Measures®..
