CQL Welcomes Mosaic’s Angela Weis To The Board of Directors

CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership is honored to share that Angela Weis will join its Board of Directors. Weis is the Senior Vice President of Mission Support for Mosaic, a long-time member organization of CQL. As Mosaic’s new board representative, she will replace Mosaic’s President and CEO Linda Timmons, who completed her board term after serving as treasurer since 2018.

“In addition to her long career covering many aspects of the services sector, Angela also has firsthand knowledge about the application of CQL’s services and tools,” says Mary Kay Rizzolo, President and CEO of CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. “That kind of insight is really beneficial in helping the board lead us to our achieving our goals.”

For more than 20 years, Weis has held various leadership positions throughout the human services field. Before joining Mosaic, Weis provided leadership development, executive coaching, and consulting for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. She has also worked as the Executive Director for the Residential Care Consortium, a national group of residential providers focusing on joint fundraising and program development.

“I am honored to be a part of CQL’s board and appreciate their expertise and advocacy in using valid and reliable measures to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities,” says Angela Weis, Senior Vice President of Mission Support for Mosaic.

Angela holds a bachelor’s in criminal justice/psychology and a master’s in human services. She received a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential through the Association for Talent Development, a Certified Executive Coach credential through the Center for Executive Coaching, and is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS). Angela received her Six Sigma Black Belt and is also a certified Emergenetics Associate.

“We’re very lucky to have Angela join us,” adds Laura Vegas, Board Chair of CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. “Through her leadership roles at a variety of different agencies, she’s bringing a lot of expertise to the Board of Directors.”
