CQL is excited to continue our Monthly Staff Spotlight series in 2024! This offers an opportunity for you to get to know our team even better. For our first article in 2024, we’re featuring Kim O’Neal, one of our Quality Enhancement Specialists!

We’ve asked Kim a series of questions about her history, background, experiences with CQL, as well as some questions to get to know her better.
What is your position at CQL and what does that role encompass?
Quality Enhancement Specialist! We provide guidance and partnership with organizations to look at ways that aren’t typical and to assist people live a life they choose.
Why did you decide to get involved in the human services field?
After volunteering 5 years during and after high school with a homeless shelter and my desire to be a teacher, it was my destiny to be a part of the human services!
What is your professional history, background, and experience?
I have fourteen years of experience in HR and training and nine years in childcare, toddler and preschool teacher, assistant director and director. Followed by three years in Quality Assurance, and now three years as a Quality Enhancement Specialist.
What are three skills you have that help you in your work?
- Organization
- Flexibility
- Compassionate
Is there anything you would like to share about yourself personally?
I enjoy spending time with my grandsons and having them live close so I can witness and share in their growth. I enjoy cleaning, building, and organizing. I am the cofounder of Lifestyle Journey Head 2 Toe with my best friend where we educate people on health and provide opportunities for clean food.
