The report ‘Building The Framework For IDD Quality Measurement’ provides a roadmap for the key measures which would support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to receive high quality supports. It serves as one of many steps towards quality value-based services for people with IDD. It is a result of a symposium held in October 2018, organized by CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership, The Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities, and Mosaic. The symposium brought together 25 leaders in healthcare and LTSS, including service providers, associations, MCOs, and others.
Inside The IDD MLTSS Report
This report is a summary of symposium findings combined with a pilot study of 28 service agencies supporting 3,000 people. It establishes an understanding of value-based quality measures for people with IDD to ensure that as the industry moves to managed care, the quality metrics utilized are meaningful to people with IDD.
