Accreditation Observations About Rights
When we’re conducting accreditations, we come across a lot of systems, policies, and practices related to rights. This could involve access to money, restrictive interventions, issues related to privacy, participation in Rights Committees, ability to have visitors, supports related to voting, and so much more. In this webinar ‘Accreditation Observations About Rights,’ CQL staff share what they’ve experienced during accreditation activities regarding rights. From innovative strategies to approaches that need improvement, we’re covering how you can help advance the protection and promotion of people’s rights in your everyday supports and services.
Using Focus Groups For Organizational Insights
CQL Accreditation uses focus groups to check the pulse of the organization, ensure agency initiatives are having the desired impact, and identify strengths and areas of opportunity for improvement. Focus groups provide deep, meaningful insights from those directly impacted by the organization, including people receiving services, staff members, families and loved ones, community members, and others. In this webinar ‘Using Focus Groups For Organizational Insights,’ we’re sharing the “who, what, when, where, why, and how” of focus groups. You’ll receive guidance for using CQL’s findings from focus groups to enact change. We’ll also detail benefits and action steps for conducting your own focus groups outside of the accreditation activities.
Exploring ‘What Really Matters’ During Stakeholder Day
How can agencies celebrate their successes, identify areas of opportunity for improvement, and establish clear goals for years to come – all while building investment from diverse audiences? Stakeholder Day. It’s a single day that wraps up the first accreditation visit for those pursuing Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation and Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation, With Distinction. In the webinar ‘Exploring ‘What Really Matters’ During Stakeholder Day,’ we’ll cover its components, benefits, expectations, and end results. Attendees will learn key tips to a successful day and gain insight into how the vibrant, engaging, and inclusive planning session will helps spark organizational transformation.
Accreditation Plans: Real-World Examples
After the first CQL Accreditation visit, organizations develop accreditation plans – a roadmap for improving quality – catered to the agency’s unique needs and objectives. They include priorities, action steps, timelines, and more to build policies, strengthen services, enhance operations, and better support people with disabilities. But what do these plans look like in real-life? How can they be used for transformation? What are solutions to challenges you may face in carrying out the plans?
In the webinar ‘Accreditation Plans: Real-World Examples,’ we’re sharing specific examples of actual accreditation plans. You’ll hear from accredited organizations, who describe the positive impact of their plans. We’ll also cover the lessons they learned, which you can apply to your agency. This session breaks down exactly how accreditation plans can be put into practice.
