From meditation to music, storytelling to ceramics, stargazing to gardening – there are so many different ways people experience and practice spirituality, outside of popular faith traditions.
But what does that look like for those receiving supports in the human services system? How can people learn more about those practices? What can organizations do to help people experience non-traditional forms of spirituality?
In this free webinar titled Non-Traditional Spirituality: Putting It Into Practice, we’re learning from three different groups. First, the webinar will share an overview of the topic and describe various types of non-traditional spirituality practices. Then, you’ll hear one person’s spiritual journey involving journaling, yoga, meditation, and more. Finally, people receiving services describe how they’re supported in this area, and staff offer tips for providing those supports.
