Employment provides financial stability, develops self-confidence, builds connections, reinforces a sense of purpose, strengthens skills, and more! Despite this – according to CQL data in 2025 – just 28.5% of people with disabilities are choosing where to work. So what can we do to change that? Well, it first starts with exploring people’s employment-related goals, to find out what they really want to do for their job or career.

In this free webinar Uncovering Employment Outcomes Through Discovery, we’re sharing practical guidance for identifying people’s dreams when it comes to employment.

First, you’ll hear from Dr. Lucy Klym, CQL Quality Enhancement Specialist. She will lay out how to use the Personal Outcome Measures® (POM) for learning about people’s desires for employment, better understanding their options, and assessing the supports in their life. Then, Dr. Steven Hunt, Regional Director at Briggs & Associates, will transform your outlook. He’ll challenge attendees to shift from asking “Can this person work?” to asking “What will it take for this person to work?” Attendees will also learn how the organization’s Discovery Process leads to rich, holistic, and meaningful insights about people’s hopes and dreams for employment!
