From people with disabilities who receive services, to direct support professionals and non-management staff – how can you make sure various stakeholders are an integral part of your organization? What can you do to get them involved in committees, teams, and workgroups? How do you support them to be active, engaged, and contributing members?

When you’re conceptualizing training and delivering training, hiring new staff and interviewing that staff, discussing organization decisions and acting upon those decisions, it’s essential to have different perspectives “at the table.”

In this session, we’re taking a deep dive into inclusive practices so that you can gather more diverse viewpoints and help various groups be a driving force behind your organization.

Attendees will learn about the value of inclusive practices and the tangible benefits for organizations. We’ll detail numerous action steps for implementing inclusive practices, including strategies that you can put in place quickly. You’ll find out potential challenges you may face in this shift, and solutions for preventing and confronting those challenges. Participants will also gain insight through profiles about organizations who have had real success in their inclusive practices.

Training Duration & Pricing

CQL will work with you to customize the content, duration, and scheduling of this training to meet your unique needs. For planning purposes, versions of this training can be provided anywhere from 3 – 6 hours in length, virtually or in-person, on a single day or across multiple days, with costs ranging from $875 – $1,750.

If the training is being presented in-person, the organization is also responsible for travel and lodging costs. Organizations will be billed for these expenses in addition to the training cost. Prices are subject to change.
